What's the Point?

Join us for “What’s the Point?” a free, family-friendly exploration of Point Whitehorn Marine Reserve. Investigate the shoreline with expert naturalists, attend fascinating talks on local ecology and wildlife, and connect with organizations dedicated to protecting our coastal treasures. This year the Whatcom MRC will have an intertidal exploration table at the shoreline, where you can examine live tide‑pool species up close and learn how these remarkable organisms survive and thrive in dynamic coastal habitats. It’s a perfect day for curious minds of all ages to learn, explore, and get inspired—please remember to leave your four-legged friends at home!
